I've been toying around with two very powerful blog publishers - Movable Type and Wordpress. Very cool software. Both programs make publishing a blog to your own domain a breeze.
Movable Type 4.23 comes in a few varieties, depending on whether you're a personal blogger or a business enterprise. The cost ranges from FREE to $1,500 or more. MT 4 is an excellent tool. I highly recommend it.
Wordpress 2.7 is a superb open source blogging tool. It has state-of-the-art features that will have you running your own blog in no time. Extremely powerful. Certainly more than adequate for most blogging needs. As with Movable Type, I give Wordpress a solid recommendation.
