I just forked out $871 to have a new hot water heater installed. That's going to set me back. Sadly, I found out too late that a gentleman in my area would have done it for much less. Fortunately, however, some kind people in my neighborhood have recently given my wife and I needed funds. Some of the money was given before we knew our hot water heater was bad; some of it came afterwards. Either way, it's a Godsend. It helped pay yesterday's vet bill as well. Praise be to our glorious Father in Heaven! He does watch out for us, I've no doubt of that. I admit, there have been times when I've questioned whether God cares, but deep down I know He truly does. Recently, He has been working through others to show us His inexhaustible mercy. For that I am deeply grateful. It all reminds me that I need to do better as person, to be more aware of how I can help others, and to be more willing to help when I am able.
