The Forbidden Kingdom

The Forbidden Kingdom is a terrific film starring Jackie Chan and Jet Li. It's about a kid named Jason who loves kung fu movies. He rents them from a Chinatown pawnshop, and while there he is mystically transported back in time to ancient China. It becomes Jason's job to free the Monkey King, a fabled warrior who has been imprisoned by a wicked man, the Jade Warlord. To help him achieve his task, Jason is taught the art of kung fu by Chan's and Li's characters.

This movie is a joy to watch. The story is entertaining, the action is spectacular, and the cinematography is simply gorgeous.
